Apparently, people's ability to use common sense has somehow disappeared! I must acknowledge that common sense and the acceptance of personal responsibility are seen a lot less these days. But I don't think the reason is, that people are becoming less intelligent or that common sense has been genetically bred out of the human race. (Some may want to argue this point).

The reason is, higher powers (courts, governments and corporations) have determined that most people are just not capable of taking care of themselves. Most people lack the intelligence necessary to make the right decisions when it comes to their best interests. In short, as a group, people just don't know what is best for them. So, it's up to someone else or an elite group to determine what is best for us.

You should feel so much better, knowing that you don't have to make the decision on whether or not to wear a seat belt when your in the car. You don't have to decide if you should wear your motorcycle helmet today, if you want to feel the wind on your face. These decisions have been made for you, in your best interest.

Don't smoke pot!
Read the warning labels!
Don't drive while your talking on the cell phone!
Be careful of what you say around others, someone may take offense!

Why not concentrate our efforts on enacting and enforcing laws that punish true 'Criminal Behavior'?
