"QUOTES"
These are actual quotes from people that
I have encountered in daily life. They are things that were
said to me or that I overheard in normal, everyday situations.
I describe the situation in White, Give the quote in Blue
and give my analysis (or opinion) in Green.
Teenage fast-food worker when making change for my order:
"I ain't got no quarters, so
I gotta give you nickles and dimes instead".
My Analysis: If you are hired to serve
the public, you should know how to speak intelligently.
Elderly man overheard speaking to a friend outside of a business:
"I went to Catholic school
all my mother fuckin' life".
My Analysis: I don't think that's how
they teach you to speak in Catholic school!
